Sophia walked gracefully down toward the lake from the Hogwarts castle. She was obviously in a great mood. Classes had not yet started, and Sophia wanted to refresh her memory on what the Lake was like. She went there to hang out every year. As Sophie neared the edge of the lake, she sat down and dipped her feet into it. The water was quite cool, but refreshing on this nice, cool, sunny day.

May made her way down toward the lake, mostly following her sister. She always looked up to her, even if she was in Ravenclaw and herself was in Slytherin. Sophia always seemed like the type to belong in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. May was eager to start her 4th year. She approached her sister with a smile on her face, and sat down next to her, "Hey, Sophie...." She said with a smile, dipping her feet into the water, as well.

Kyle was the type of person who liked to meet new people. On his walk towards the lake he saw a girl who seemed to be the same age as him. He then saw a girl that seemed a year younger than him. "Hi, I'm Kyle." he said sitting a few feet away from the girls. He then spotted the fact that one was Slytherin and the other was Ravenclaw.

Sophia turned to see her sister, May, "Hey," She called as the Slytherin girl took a seat next to her. Then, Sophie turned her head, hearing another voice. She noticed a boy about the same age as her, "Hello," She said with a friendly smile, "I'm Sophia, but you could call me Sophie if you'd like," She told the boy, "Nice to meet you,"

May nodded to her sister, then saw another boy, sitting a few feet from them. After her sister had introduced herself, she did the same, "I'm May," She told Kyle, "Sophie's sister," She added, kindly. She was in a good mood today, so she was acting kind to a Gryffindor, which she normally didn't do.

Kyle was shocked to see a Slytherin behaving so kindly to a Gryffindor. "So, sisters in two different houses. That's bizzare." he said smiling. He hoped he didn't offened them because Slytherin's can become very mean.

Sophie attempted to speak before her sister, "Well, yes...... She isn't exactly.... like me. She's quite spoiled," She said with a grin, looking at her sister's expression to see how she would react. "But, the Sorting Hat chose it, so I can't complain...." She said, smiling.

"Spoiled?" May asked, raising her eyebrows. She thought for a moment before saying anything else... "Well..... perhaps. I do get what I want much more often than you do," She said, sticking her tongue out at Sophie, "Do I act like I belong in Slytherin?" She asked with an evil smirk.

"You seem to me like you are nicer than most Slytherins." He said smiling when the Slytherin stuck her tongue out at the Ravenclaw. He then stood up took a few steps back and the jumped into the lake not making a splash. He then resurfaced with a big smile on his face. "Hey, the water isn't actually that cold." He said knowing the two girls probably thought that he was super weird.

May snorted, watching as the Gryffindor entered the water, "Well, not exactly. I'm just in an extra good mood," She said with a smirk, looking at her sister for approval. May continued swishing her feet around in the cool water, thinking about going in, as well. But she didn't exactly want this Gryffindor to think she'd stay nice forever.

Sophia giggled at what the Gryffindor said about her sister being 'nice'. "Yeah," She said with a nod, "She's only this nice on special occasions," She watched as the Gryffindor entered the water, "Really?" She said, commenting on the temperature of the water. She decided to go for a swim, as well. She stood up and shook her legs off, then jumped into the lake, making a small splash. Her brown, wet hair plastered to her face.

"Haha," he said seeing the Ravenclaw jump in. To him Ravenclaw were as cool as Gryffindor, Hufflepuff seemed to uptight and Slytherins were to mean. He could feel his hair drying in the sun so he decided to dunk his head in again. He shook his hair a little, he used to have long hair, but he cut it before the year started.

Sophia held her breath and went under water once more, she opened her eyes, seeing the murky and blurry water. She didn't see anything really unusual, so she resurfaced once more and pulled her hair back, "Bleh," She said, spitting out some water, "That doesn't taste the best..." She mummbled, looking at Kyle. Then she turned toward her sister, "Come in and join us," She said invitingly to May, keeping her head above water.

May watched as her sister splashed into the lake, spraying some water on her. She stood up, startled, with wet spots now on her robes, "Oh, thanks a ton, Sophie," She said, glaring at her sister as she resurfaced for the second time. She turned toward the Gryffindor, who had laughed when Sophie had jumped in, "What's so funny?" She hissed. She then turned back toward her sister, "You know I hate swimming, and water!" She shot, "But then again I do have to take a shower, but that ain't the same...." May mummbled, backing away from the lake a few steps, "Now you have your robes all wet," She told both of them with an evil laugh, "Oh, well," She smirked, still continuing to back away from the lake.

Kyle then went under for a seconds, May not going in didn't rain on his parade. "Oh well," he mumbled under his breath as the Slytherin stepped away from the lake. He then went under again holding his breath for a long time. He opened his eyes and the water looked fine, he couldn't see that well, but nothing in that water seemed living. Except the two people in it.
