the first Hogwarts Holidays where here all ready and now was usualy the best time to go to Hogsmeade Village. It was a good day to day weather wise, their was not a cloud in the sky the sun was shinning and their was a very nice breaze about and it looked like it could stay like this for some time. Despite the amount of assignments due to mark Walter decided to enjoy the day outside and pick up a few supplies in Hogsmead having been low on quills it was amazing how often they went missing though it was usualy down to students borrowing them on an apparently premenent basis. During the holidays Walter would take advantage of this time to stock up as much as possible. He was also in town to buy a new animal companion seeing as how his black cat Earl had passed away a week ago, he felt it was time to upgrade to perhaps an owl. He decided that an Eagle Owl would be most appropiet since it would be able to carry packeges which was on of the benifits of having a a large owl. When he had made his perchases he decided to stop off at the Three Broomsticks and ordered himself some Butter Beer...

Hogsmeade.
Autumn had heard of there being all magical villages, but visiting one was a completely different story. Salem had never had the priviledge of one of these to take students to. She was sure it would be a lot of fun to accompany students there.
The newly appointed deputy headmistress and history of magic teacher did not have a lot on her mind just then. She had finished her work, and her lesson plans, and scheduled a day of relaxation at the village.
Smiling, she beautiful woman walked into the the place called "Three Broomsticks." She did not, of course, drink, but she was thirsty enough to walk into a bar and order something non-alchoholic. Her parents had left her quite some money when they had died - both of typhoid, last summer. She did not even need to work, but enjoyed it.
She sat down on a table [very near Walter] and smiled as she hummed absently, waiting for someone to take her order.

Walter placed the cage conaining the owl on the seat next to him and began thinking of names for the creature, the owl hooted contently as one eye blinked one after the other and turned its head elegently. Walter was wondering if he should look for some book an appropriete name as he drank some of his butter beer. The Three Broomsticks appeared to be getting a little noisy with the arrival a few more customers.
TTB's was all ways a popular haunt of wizards and witches alike despite their being other pubs in town everyone seemed to all ways come to this. His attention became distracted by the latest arrival a woman he recognised having seen her at the teachers table in The Great Hall but did only new her name and that she had been announced as the Deputy Headmistress. He watched her take her order and sit down by a table not far from where he was.
Walter found his feet deciding his own decissions for him as he walked over to Autumn and began by introducing himself "Hello " he smilled politely "Im Walter Rhodes, Head of Slytheryn House" said he.

Autumn found herself being distracted by an owl that was fluttering inside a cage, and the man who had brought it. She couldn't place him, but she vaugely remembered him from somewhere? Hogwarts, perhaps.
Suddenly, he got up and walked to her. She removed the curious frown from her beautiful face, and put on her radiant smile. When he introduced himself, she immediately knew. Proffesor Rhodes, of course. Smiling a`little brighter, she said "Hello! I'm Autumn, Autumn Night. Deputy Headmistress and HOM teacher." She smiled politely, "Nice to meet you too."
